Job summary

Procore Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect, Field Deployments, to act as a trusted technical advisor across the customer lifecycle.

You will design, validate, and deploy scalable field solutions by translating business goals into technical architectures, collaborating with Sales, CS, Product, and Engineering. You will travel up to 50% (Bay Area or Austin) to oversee deployments, lead discovery, run Demos/POCs, and ensure successful customer outcomes with robotics,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Background in ground robotics, quadrupeds, mobile robots, or embodied AI systems.
• Proficiency with Python, ROS, or similar tools used in robotics and automation integration.
• Strong knowledge of connectivity, infrastructure, networking, power systems, hardware/software interoperability, or operational field workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to work with complex software platforms and integrated hardware/software systems in real-world operational environments.
• Proven history of leading technical discovery, solution validation, proof of concepts, and customer deployments across pre-sales and post-sales motions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead robotics and AI deployments with customers in the field, managing hardware, networking, connectivity, and power infrastructure.
• Direct implementation activities, including system configuration, integration planning, training, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Serve as the point of contact for customer communications to ensure deployment planning, onsite resource allocation, and remediation plans are in place.
• Guide customers through technical interoperability across robotics, docks, sensors, field infrastructure, and software systems.
• Lead technical discovery and scoping to uncover prospective and existing customer business goals, workflows, and technical constraints.
• Run demonstrations, proof of concepts, and validation activities for complex customer opportunities.
• Act as the primary technical advisor, clearly communicating risks, tradeoffs, recommendations, and next steps to customer stakeholders.
• Architect scalable solutions that align customer needs with product capabilities, implementation requirements, and long-term business value.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define, test, and improve emerging workflows across robotics, walkthrough AI, and reality capture.
• Bring structured field feedback directly into product roadmap discussions to drive adoption, reliability, and solution quality.
• Use AI tooling regularly to support research, solution design, technical content creation, and workflow documentation.
