Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking a full-time Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to manage the medical needs of residents in sub-acute rehab and long-term care units. The APRN will diagnose, treat, and coordinate care as a primary contact for emergencies and routine visits.

The program includes a 3-week paid training with a mentor APRN, and benefits such as health insurance, 401k, paid time off, malpractice coverage, and license renewal support.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required and NP license.
• Board Certification required.
• DEA/Controlled Substance License and a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel to facilities in assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary, post-acute, and preventative care for residents.
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.).
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
• Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases.
• Prescribe medications.
• Maintain accurate records and schedules.
• Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications.
• Oversee patients’ overall health.

Nursing experience as APRN in ICU/ER/S

Education

Master’s Degree from an accredited college/university
