Job summary

CVS Health MinuteClinic seeks a Primary Care Family Nurse Practitioner to provide holistic, evidence-based care in a patient-centered setting with support from a clinical care team.

You will assess, diagnose, treat, and disposition patients, while collaborating to maintain high safety and quality standards. A Master's in FNP and current board certification are required, with DOT/BLS credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Family Nurse practitioner license in good standing.
• Provide holistic, evidenced-based care including education and treatment.
• Order and administer immunizations (COVID19, influenza, TB, Depo) and vaccine counseling.
• Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
• Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
• Bilingual abilities including Spanish in some markets.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification including CPR and AED.
• Pass a FIT test and wear respirator as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and family evidenced-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and disposition planning.
• Perform administrative duties: opening/closing the clinic, inventory, follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, cleaning the environment.
• Manage patient appointments and routine examinations to ensure positive health outcomes.
• Discuss healthy lifestyle choices with patients and coordinate with other health professionals for comprehensive care.
• Encourage patient participation in screenings, behavioral health, wellness and chronic condition management.
