Job summary
Healthcare United in Rock Falls, Illinois, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a hospital-affiliated podiatry practice. This role offers autonomy to develop an independent patient panel within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
You will work alongside an experienced podiatry team, manage your own patient panel, and have opportunities to participate in surgical cases if desired. Competitive compensation and benefits accompany this position.
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Podiatry APP experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Perform non-operative foot and ankle evaluations.
- Manage fracture care and ankle sprain treatment.
- Evaluate and treat tendonitis and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Conduct diabetic foot examinations and preventative care.
- Provide wound care management.
- Perform joint injections and conservative treatment procedures.
- Treat common podiatric conditions including nail disorders.
- Assist with surgical procedures in the operating room if interested.
