Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join the Orthopedic Walk-in Clinic at the Hatfield location. The APP will work onsite Monday through Friday, with clinic hours 8:00am–4:30pm and options for 24/32/40 hours per week.

The APP will be the sole provider at the Hatfield Clinic while coordinating with the Amherst team for urgent musculoskeletal injuries. The role involves evaluating and treating both adult and pediatric patients, ordering radiographs, performing

Qualifications

• Master's Degree Physician Assistant required.
• Experience as licensed PA preferred.
• 3+ years orthopedic experience preferred.
• 3+ years acute care/urgent care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sole APP at Hatfield Clinic working with the Orthopedic team.
• Collaborate with providers and staff across the Amherst location.
• Independently evaluate and manage adult and pediatric orthopedic patients.
• Order and interpret radiographs.
• Administer therapeutic and diagnostic injections and perform reductions.
• Apply splints and casts.
• Determine follow-up care and referrals for surgical management when indicated.
