Mass General Brigham Medical Group Western Massachusetts, Inc. seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join its Orthopedic Walk-in Clinic in Hatfield onsite, Monday through Friday, with 5 eight-hour shifts.

Flexible 24–40 hour options and autonomy as the sole APP while collaborating with the Amherst orthopedic team. The APP will evaluate and manage adult and pediatric orthopedic injuries, order radiographs, perform injections and reductions, and coordinate follow-up care including

Qualifications

• Master's Degree Physician Assistant required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.
• 3+ years of orthopedic experience preferred
• 3+ years of acute care/urgent care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides direct evaluation and management of adult and pediatric orthopedic patients in ambulatory setting.
• Orders and interprets appropriate radiographs and diagnostic tests.
• Performs injections (therapeutic/diagnostic) and fracture reductions as needed.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions per policies.
• Coordinates follow-up care and referrals for surgical management when indicated.
• Maintains timely and accurate documentation of patient encounters.

3+ years orthopedic experience
