Job summary

Transdev North America is seeking a field-ready operator to support autonomous mobility and fleet operations. The role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and adaptability while evaluating self-driving vehicles and providing ride-hail services to the public.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of driving on public roads, with a preference for those with autonomous vehicle testing experience. The position requires flexible shifts, travel, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience driving on public roads.
• High School Diploma or GED required. Four-year college degree (preferred) in a related field like industrial or applied sciences.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Transdev's high standard of safety, situational awareness, and professionalism inside and outside of the vehicle at all times.
• Safely operate and evaluate vehicles in both autonomous and manual modes across defined routes and environments.
• Monitor software systems and onboard data recording computers with focus.
• Provide feedback and daily reports regarding vehicle operations, software releases, and bugs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and roadside assistance to passengers of a driverless vehicle.
