Job summary

Transdev North America is seeking Autonomous Mobility & Fleet Specialists to operate and evaluate self-driving vehicles, provide ride-hail services, and perform safe roadside recovery. The role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and adaptability across multiple functions with deployments based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred in related field.
• Minimum 3 years of driving on public roads; autonomous vehicle testing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, situational awareness, and professionalism inside and outside the vehicle.
• Demonstrate proactive understanding of proprietary technology and adapt to changing environments.
• Safely operate and evaluate vehicles in autonomous and manual modes on defined, undefined routes and closed-course facilities.
• Monitor software systems and onboard data recording computers.
• Provide clear verbal and written feedback, daily reports, and documentation.
• Ride as a passenger in autonomous vehicles when required.
• Coordinate vehicle batch setups and ensure fleet readiness for daily missions.
• Troubleshoot driver support modules and communicate with technical support.
• Assist as a spotter for vehicle movements and oversee asset security.
• Support recovery operations and ensure safe vehicle relocation if needed.
• Deliver customer service and roadside assistance to passengers of driverless vehicles.
• Represent the company professionally to the public, guests, security, and facilities staff.
• Collaborate flexibly in teams and adapt to evolving operational demands.
