Applied Intuition, Inc. is recruiting a Hardware Integration Engineer to deploy autonomy technology directly to mining and construction vehicles, onsite with customers.

You will work with our hardware team and assess fleet utilization, serving as the technical reference for the system. You will collaborate with hardware engineers, technicians, operators and safety drivers, leading deployments and ensuring system bring-up, testing and on-site support are executed with safety and reliability in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or related field.
• Experience with AV components Lidars, Radars, Cameras.
• Experience with low-volume manufacturing in off-road industry.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and datasheets.
• Experience documenting and maintaining detailed assembly procedures.
• Experience using shop equipment, 3D printers, automotive diagnostic tools.
• Familiarity with CAD design process (SolidWorks) is a plus.
• CNC, Machining, Metal Working and Welding experience.
• Experience with Automotive Repair and Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter expert for Applied’s autonomous mining system, mastering all aspects of the system.
• Deploy integrated autonomous systems onto mining and construction vehicles at customer sites.
• Own fleet reliability and perform first-line triage and issue resolution at the customer site.
• Provide vehicle integration support by designing, prototyping, and installing proof-of-concept systems and sensors.
• Lead the vehicle from build-out through delivery to operations, including bring-up and shakedown testing.
• Design and build test benches to validate mechanical, electrical, embedded and software systems.
• Develop and own documentation related to vehicle integration.
• Troubleshoot vehicle systems and perform root-cause analysis.
• Minimize vehicle downtime with a strong safety focus.
• Work independently on high-level, dynamically evolving challenges.
