Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan is seeking personnel to support autonomous mining operations at our Bagdad, AZ site. The role involves assisting with operational changes to optimize autonomous activities, escorting personnel and equipment in the AOZ, and performing fuel dock duties and inspections.

Ideal candidates have at least six months in mining or related operations, with a high school diploma or GED. A non-standard schedule may apply, and there are comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly pay

Qualifications

Six months experience in mining, autonomous operations, industrial or related operations.
Ability to apply knowledge and skills and pass a written assessment when required, based on skills, academic knowledge, and safety.

Responsibilities

Support autonomous mining operations and assist with operational changes to optimize autonomous activities within the mine.
Escort personnel and equipment within the AOZ and perform duties at the fuel dock, including fueling haul trucks and conducting inspections.
Assist with pit inspections, audits, and relocating trucks, and operate heavy equipment within the AOZ as required.
