Job summary

Atoms is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain and repair autonomous haulage technology across mine sites. The role involves on-site deployments, troubleshooting, and hands-on electrical work with 12/24V DC systems. You must be mobile, able to travel up to 75%, and ready for multi-week rotations.

The starting pay is $27.88 to $35.10 per hour, with benefits and a dynamic work environment in the United States.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience as a heavy equipment, diesel, automotive technician, avionics, industrial controls, or military/vehicle maintenance technician.
• Hands-on low-voltage electrical work: harness routing, connector termination, crimping, sensor and actuator installation.
• Must be able to mobilize on short notice and deploy for multi-week rotations; travel around 75%.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and troubleshoot retrofit kits on mining equipment.
• Work on customer sites as part of deployment crew.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure system health and reliability.
• Monitor equipment conditions and log data.
• Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and connectivity issues in the field.
• Serve as the face of the company during on-site visits.
