Job summary

OhioHealth seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support home health patients. You will deliver one-on-one care, work with an interdisciplinary team, and help patients achieve meaningful outcomes in their home setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required in Occupational Therapy.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Licensed COTA credential (Occupational Therapy Assistant).
• Experience in home health or inpatient rehab settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and evaluate/treat patients under OT supervision.
• Assist in reassessment and communicate progress to the OT.
• Support discharge planning with multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home exercises.
• Coordinate documentation and maintain accurate records.
