Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for home health in Clark County, Ohio and surrounding areas. You will work part-time/PRN under the supervision of a licensed OT to provide individualized therapy at patients’ homes.

You will help patients with daily living activities, educate caregivers, and document progress while collaborating with the care team to improve independence and safety in the home setting.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio COTA license.
• CPR and/or BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments according to the plan of care under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist patients in improving activities of daily living and functional mobility.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and adaptive techniques.
• Observe, document and report patient progress and changes to the supervising OT.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient outcomes.
