Qualifications

  • BS in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, chemical or biological engineering, or similar.
  • Comfort working in automated, high-throughput, robotics-driven lab environments including software-driven workflows.
  • Prior experience with plate-based assays and/or automated liquid handling is a plus.
  • Prior experience with automated workflows and software is a plus.
  • Experience transitioning traditional cloning methods into high-throughput pipelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-throughput screens and selections using autonomous lab robotics and detection instrumentation.
  • Translate screening protocols into automated, code-driven workflows under guidance of senior scientists.
  • Develop and optimize cultivation conditions and assays for automated execution.
  • Test screening performance, troubleshoot runs, and flag anomalies for root-cause analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records of screening data and protocols for automated data pipelines.
