Job summary

Curana Health is seeking physicians to join its mission-driven practice across skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities. You’ll deliver high-quality, person-centered care, mentor APPs, and lead clinical teams with autonomy and flexible scheduling designed to restore physician ownership of patient care.

Medical Directorships are available with additional compensation and leadership opportunities, while data-driven tools support clinical decisions.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (state medical license required)
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Hospital Medicine
• Current unrestricted medical license in the employing state
• Active DEA License
• Proficiency with EMR systems
• Compassionate, motivated, and strong collaborator

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care by completing history and physicals on new patients and conducting routine rounds (minimum once per week)
• Partner with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to manage regulatory and complex patient visits, ensuring compliance and clinical excellence
• Oversee APP performance and mentor the care delivery team
• Close quality gaps when prompted, driving measurable improvements in patient outcomes
• Serve as a trusted advocate for patients and their families
• Represent Curana Health’s mission and values as a clinical leader in the communities served
• Support Medical Directorships with leadership and quality initiatives
• Lead clinical quality metric reviews and participate in QAPI, CASPER, and RTA data discussions
