Job summary

Curana Health is seeking a physician to deliver high-quality, person-centered care in skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities. Youll be a trusted clinical leader, mentor APPs, and advocate for residents while enjoying a flexible, autonomous practice environment.

We value autonomy, complex geriatric care, and partnerships with APPs to elevate care delivery. This role requires travel between facilities and a dedication to meaningful, patient-focused medicine.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in IM, FM, geriatrics, or hospital medicine.
• Current unrestricted medical license in the employment state.
• Active DEA license.
• Proficiency with EMR systems.
• Compassionate, motivated, and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Provide history and physicals for new patients and conduct regular rounds (at least weekly).
• Collaborate with APPs to manage regulatory and complex visits.
• Oversee APP performance and mentor the care team.
• Close quality gaps and drive better patient outcomes.
• Advocate for patients and embody Curana Health's mission in communities.
• Travel to and from assigned facilities as needed.
