Job summary

Curana Health is seeking physicians to deliver high-quality, person-centered care across skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities. You will be a clinical leader for patients and a mentor to APPs, enjoying substantial autonomy and a flexible schedule.

Medical Directorships offer leadership opportunities with additional compensation, while you continue practicing medicine with strong clinical and administrative support.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification in internal medicine, family medicine, geriatrics, or hospital medicine.
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of employment.
• Active DEA license required to prescribe.
• Proficiency with EMR systems.
• Compassionate, motivated, and a strong collaborator.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by performing history and physicals on new patients and routine rounds (at least once weekly).
• Partner with Advanced Practice Providers to manage regulatory and complex visits, ensuring clinical excellence.
• Oversee APP performance and mentor the care team.
• Close quality gaps and drive measurable improvements in patient outcomes.
• Advocate for residents and represent Curana Health’s mission in communities served.
• Take on Medical Directorships to lead clinical quality and care delivery at partner facilities.
