Job summary

Curana Health, Inc. is seeking physicians to deliver high-quality, person-centered care in skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities. You will serve as a clinical leader, mentor APPs, and advocate for residents while enjoying a flexible schedule and meaningful autonomy in patient flow.

The role offers full-time or part-time schedules, with a strong focus on autonomy, advanced care planning, and value-based care delivery in a rapidly growing senior healthcare model.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of employment.
• Active DEA License.
• Proficiency with EMR systems.
• Compassionate, motivated, and a strong collaborator.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care by conducting history and physicals on new patients and performing regular rounds, typically at least once per week.
• Partner with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to manage regulatory and complex patient visits, ensuring compliance and clinical excellence.
• Oversee APP performance and mentor the care team to elevate overall care delivery.
• Close quality gaps when prompted and drive measurable improvements in patient outcomes.
• Advocate for patients and represent Curana Health’s mission and values in the communities served.
