Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Flight Test Operator to lead hands-on flight test activities for autonomous fixed-wing aircraft. You will help plan, execute and evaluate test campaigns, collaborating with test engineers and site teams to ensure safety, reliability, and performance.

You will build and program autonomous platforms, support installations at test sites, and travel to multiple sites as needed to support demonstrations and evaluations.

Qualifications

• RC/RPIC or PIC experience on fixed-wing aircraft.
• FAA Part 107 certificate and Part 61 ground school knowledge.
• Willingness to travel as needed and ability to work extended hours.
• Familiarity with flight controllers and autopilot logic.
• Strong knowledge of National Airspace regulations and operating restrictions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple autonomous tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Low tolerance for downtime; proactive problem solving.
• Experience with small UAS maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with test, system checkouts, fly, and provide feedback on Altius for Test Engineering.
• Build, program, and maintain autonomous aircraft for flight.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers on operations, flight execution, and prep.
• Assist with product installations at test sites as needed.
• Support Site Manager with maintenance, inventory, and site logistics.
• Travel between test sites as required.
