Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Dallas is seeking a Fleet Operations Manager for AV Fleet to lead daily operations of autonomous ride-hailing vehicles. You will supervise a team performing servicing, cleaning, charging and calibration to ensure vehicle readiness, safety and uptime.

The role requires coordinating with partner teams, managing budgets and metrics, and driving continuous improvement in a high-volume, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of progressive experience in related field (rental car, logistics, fleet management, ride hail, mobility services or related service industries).
• Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional communication and leadership with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in data analytics, forecasting and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead fleet servicing, including cleaning, charging, and calibration to ensure readiness and safety.
• Oversee vehicle dispatch, movement, and staging to maximize uptime.
• Manage daily operations and optimize resource allocation.
• Develop and implement daily operating plans aligned to business objectives.
• Forecast, budget and track key operational metrics.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, IT and other departments to prioritize workload.
• Maintain vendor relationships and ensure service levels.
