Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced construction project manager in the San Jose area to own drywall and metal framing projects from contracts through closeout. You will lead budgets, schedules, procurement, and field coordination with GCs and crews while maintaining cost controls and timely change orders.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, WinBid, Plexxis, Procore, and Excel, plus the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing drywall and metal framing, commercial or multifamily preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and specs independently.
• Comfortable with PM software (On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, WinBid, Plexxis) and Excel.
• Able to juggle multiple projects without slips.

Responsibilities

• Manage drywall and framing scopes end to end: contracts, budgets, schedules, procurement, and field coordination.
• Build and hold schedules while coordinating with GCs and your own crews.
• Track costs, forecast, and handle change order pricing and negotiation.
• Keep materials moving so crews are never standing around waiting.
• Run closeout properly: punch lists, warranties, and final billing.
