Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Drywall Project Manager in San Jose, CA for permanent on-site work. The role focuses on managing drywall projects from planning to delivery, with emphasis on metal framing, scheduling, procurement, budgeting, and change orders.

You will lead teams, coordinate with architects and clients, and ensure safety and quality across multifamily and commercial builds. The ideal candidate has strong blueprints literacy, 5+ years in drywall projects, and proficiency with Procore and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in drywall-focused construction.
• Experience with metal framing, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Proficient reading of blueprints with contract awareness.
• Proficient in Procore and Bluebeam tools.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all drywall project aspects including metal framing, scheduling, change orders, and budget forecasting.
• Oversee procurement to ensure timely material delivery.
• Coordinate with subs, architects, and clients to meet project requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure work meets specifications.
• Track submittals and RFIs and keep records organized.
• Administer contracts and ensure work complies with terms and conditions.
• Utilize Procore and Bluebeam to manage projects and communicate with the team.
• Supervise construction crews to uphold quality and safety standards.
