Job summary

TSMG Holding is seeking a Self-Driving Systems Specialist (SDS Specialist) to support diagnostics, calibration, configuration, and technical readiness of self-driving systems used in autonomous vehicles and robotaxi fleets across North America. The role focuses on sensors, compute systems, software configurations, SDS hardware, diagnostics, and validation to ensure safe testing and deployment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in automotive electronics, diagnostics, embedded systems, robotics, technical support, or complex technical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience working with vehicle electronics, sensors, control systems, or advanced hardware.
• Comfortable following structured software procedures and technical workflows.
• Ability to work with diagnostic tools, logs, and engineering instructions.
• High attention to detail and strong procedural discipline.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional technical teams.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot SDS issues affecting vehicle performance and fleet readiness.
• Inspect, repair, or replace SDS hardware components on autonomous vehicles.
• Perform software updates, configuration changes, and system validation checks.
• Perform calibration and verification activities for autonomous vehicle sensors.
• Serve as on-site subject matter expert and provide structured technical findings.
• Maintain records of diagnostics, repairs, updates, and calibration activities.
• Support incident reviews, root-cause analysis, and escalation processes.
