Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Simulation Test Engineer to own system-level simulation testing for autonomous driving software. You will drive virtual verification and validation across perception and autonomous components, and support development and integration teams to improve robustness and safety of self-driving tech.

You will identify, plan, and execute simulation test campaigns, develop V&V strategies with Product/Safety teams, and maintain a Scenario Library to ensure robust ODD coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience with virtual testing and simulation of perception and autonomous vehicle behavior.
• Experience developing scenarios compliant with ASM OpenScenario standard.
• Experience developing Test Cases and Test Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Own system-level simulation testing of autonomous driving software and V&V efforts.
• Plan and execute simulation test campaigns for AV V&V.
• Interface with Product, Systems, and Safety teams on V&V strategies.
• Maintain and improve scenario library for ODD coverage.
• Identify gaps and derive requirements for test tools and frameworks.
• Coordinate with tools teams and vendors for toolchains evolution.
• Analyze results and develop dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
