Job summary

Tensor is seeking an experienced QA/validation engineer for autonomous driving systems. You will develop comprehensive test plans for autonomy functions, and execute both simulation-based and real-world testing to validate system behaviors.

You will work closely with systems engineering and software teams to assess coverage, analyze results, and drive improvements. The role requires a strong background in robotics or related fields, 3+ years in test/validation, and solid C++ debugging and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field relevant to autonomous systems.
• 3+ years of experience in requirements testing, behavior validation, or functional testing.
• Proficiency in C++ for analyzing and debugging issues.
• Strong ability to document, analyze, and present complex test results.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute requirements-based test and integration plans for autonomy functions.
• Create, execute, and refine test plans in simulation platforms.
• Collaborate with systems engineering to develop test methodologies and measure coverage.
• Communicate results to engineering teams, analyze root causes, and drive improvements.
• Analyze test results, logs, and performance to identify issues and trends.
• Document findings clearly and propose actionable recommendations.
• Conduct both simulation-based and real-world testing of autonomous driving behaviors.
• Ensure scalable, repeatable testing pipelines using simulation environments.
