Wolter, Inc. is seeking Dock & Door Technicians to run their own service routes in Wausau, DePere, and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes ownership of daily work, autonomy on-site, and ongoing training within a fast-growing, privately owned company established in 1962.

Qualified candidates have 1–3 years’ experience, own tools, and a valid driver’s license. The position includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus and a full benefits package with retirement options.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in dock equipment servicing or related mechanical field.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Own hand and power tools for daily repairs.
• Certification to operate material handling equipment preferred.
• Technical training/certifications in mechanical/electrical/industrial maintenance preferred.
• Commitment to company mission.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain loading dock systems, dock levelers, seals, shelters, truck restraints, and overhead doors.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, air, mechanical, and electrical configurations.
• Execute preventative maintenance schedules for local distribution hubs and logistics centers.
• Respond to emergency repair calls as needed.
• Attend service training classes to stay current on products or refresh knowledge.
• Maintain safety compliance by using PPE at all times.
• Log daily work with customer signatures on your device before leaving the site.
• Maintain an organized service van.
• Develop and maintain relationships with territory sales reps to identify opportunities.
