Job summary

Gritt Robotics is seeking a Technical Autonomous Fleet Manager to oversee the deployment and operational efficiency of autonomous construction robots across various solar sites. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot complex issues and ensure the fleet operates at peak capacity while liaising between field operations and R&D teams.

This role requires hands-on experience with advanced machinery, critical thinking, and adaptability in outdoor environments. Extensive travel to active construction sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent deep, hands-on experience managing complex mechanical/heavy equipment fleets.
• Proven ability to work autonomously as the sole technical expert on a site.
• History of working closely with physical machines, turning wrenches, and diagnosing hardware faults.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary technical resource on site to resolve mechanical, electrical, or software issues.
• Physically interact with machines to monitor performance and ensure operational readiness.
• Capture and document field data, hardware anomalies, and performance bottlenecks.
