Gritt seeks a highly analytical and hands-on Technical Autonomous Fleet Manager to oversee deployment, health, and operational efficiency of our autonomous construction robots on utility-scale solar sites. Your primary mission is simple: keep the robots running and doing work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Autonomous problem-solving ability as sole on-site tech.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical hardware in outdoor construction settings.
• Proven fleet management or field operations experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent technical communication with remote engineers.
• Willingness to travel extensively to active solar sites.

Responsibilities

• Keep robots running by diagnosing and resolving tech issues on site.
• Interact hands-on with fleet to monitor performance and calibrate sensors.
• Capture and translate field data into feedback for R&D.
• Oversee fleet maintenance and repairs in rugged environments.
• Manage end-to-end logistics of fleet deployment across sites.
• Develop operational playbooks to optimize deployment.
