Job summary

Jobot in Greater Milwaukee, WI is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support construction projects from tender through substantial completion. You will assist Project Managers, track budgets and schedules, coordinate subcontractors and consultants, and help maintain strong client relationships in a safety-conscious environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of construction PM experience, familiarity with Procore/MS Project, and a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in construction project management or related role.
• Experience on commercial or multi-unit construction projects.
• Basic understanding of construction methods, contracts and project delivery.
• Familiarity with Procore, MS Project, or similar PM tools.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in planning and execution of projects from tender through substantial completion.
• Assist with budget tracking, schedule updates, and change order processing.
• Help coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants under the direction of the Project Manager.
• Attend site meetings, take minutes, and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Support compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in maintaining client relationships through clear and timely communication.
• Help identify and elevate project risks to the Project Manager as needed.
