Job summary

GPAC seeks an experienced General Civil Litigation Attorney in Idaho to independently manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution, while developing case strategies and engaging directly with clients. You will handle discovery, motions, hearings, and trial preparation, representing clients in court and contributing to the growth of the practice.

The ideal candidate will have J.D. from an accredited law school, active Idaho Bar membership, and hands-on civil litigation

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active Idaho Bar membership and good standing.
Demonstrated hands-on civil litigation experience.
Comfortable managing cases with a high degree of independence.
Strong courtroom, research, writing, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Independently manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Handle discovery, depositions, motions, briefing, hearings, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
Represent clients in court and participate in hearings and trials.
Develop litigation strategies and work directly with clients throughout their matters.
Conduct sophisticated legal research and draft high-quality pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Potential to take on mentoring and leadership responsibilities as the practice continues to grow.
