Job summary
Halfords, the UK’s largest automotive service, maintenance and repair business, is seeking an Assistant Manager. You will work with the Centre Manager to drive profitability, lead the team, and ensure an outstanding customer journey, splitting time between the workshop with technicians and daily sales and service.
The role offers On-target earnings up to £40,200, base salary £32,000, and an uncapped monthly bonus averaging £8,200 per year.
Qualifications
- Leadership to drive customer satisfaction and team performance.
- Coaching and developing colleagues on the job.
- Level 2/3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent.
- Solid knowledge of workshop operations and vehicle diagnostics.
- Bring your own tools and use them in a busy workshop.
- Commitment to Health & Safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist Centre Manager with daily sales and customer service.
- Work alongside technicians in the workshop.
- Drive profitability and oversee the customer journey.
- Provide management and leadership within the centre.
- Support training and progression schemes for staff.
