Pro Staff is seeking a Warranty Prior Approval Analyst for a temporary role supporting automotive warranty operations in Allen Park, MI. The position suits candidates with repair/diagnostic experience who enjoy problem-solving and working with dealership teams.

Responsibilities include reviewing warranty requests, communicating with service managers, guiding coverage decisions, researching repair information, and ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hands-on automotive diagnostic and repair experience preferred.
• Service writer, service advisor, warranty administration, or dealership experience preferred.
• ASE Certifications strongly preferred.
• Strong computer, data entry, and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions based on policy guidelines.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate warranty prior approval requests for vehicle interior and exterior repairs.
• Communicate with dealership service managers, service advisors, and technicians via phone and online systems.
• Provide accurate, timely, and professional guidance on warranty coverage and repair authorization decisions.
• Research technical repair information and assist in resolving dealer concerns.
• Prepare and distribute service communications and documentation.
• Ensure all warranty determinations comply with established warranty policies and procedures.
• Maintain detailed records and provide exceptional customer support to dealership personnel.
