Job summary

Stellantis Quality is seeking a Warranty Analysis Technician to join the QEC team in Auburn Hills, MI. You will perform complete teardown analyses and testing on warranty components, determine root causes, and document findings in PRAS.

The role requires strong teamwork, hands-on skills, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has an automotive tech background, proficiency with Windows software, and experience analyzing electrical components.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Automotive Technology or equivalent.
Experience with documenting findings and root cause analysis.
Ability to operate Windows-based software and use a digital camera for documentation.
Strong teamwork, customer-service orientation and cross-functional collaboration.
Hands-on experience with hand tools, bench tools, machine tools, and welding equipment.
Experience disassembling and analyzing components to determine root cause.
Ability to test and diagnose electrical components (relays, solenoids, switches).
Team player and willingness to support other areas as needed.
Ability to operate Hi-Lo / forklift and stacker.

Responsibilities

Perform teardown analyses and testing per written instructions and procedures.
Set up and operate test equipment on warranty-returned components.
Analyze data from customer complaints to identify root causes.
Document daily findings and root cause results in PRAS.
Review dealership data, corporate systems, and supplier testing procedures.
Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to determine corrective actions.
Maintain clean work area and equipment; assist with special assignments as required.
