Job summary

Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Used Car Manager for Napleton Auto Park of Urbana. The role oversees the Used Car Department, including wholesale, retail, purchasing, and marketing, with a focus on driving profit and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates will have automotive dealership Used Car sales management experience, strong communication skills, and a track record of high-volume unit production.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a Used Car Department in a dealership.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Preference for experience with high-volume sales and monthly unit production.
• Must be 18+ years old per policy.

Responsibilities

• Manage all areas of the Used Car Department, including wholesale, retail, purchasing and marketing.
• Hire, train and lead all used car sales staff.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure vehicles are properly reconditioned and photographed for online posting.
• Ensure sales staff follow dealership policies and maintain high standards of vehicle delivery.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Used Car Manager. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry. Located at Napleton Auto Park of Urbana,, the Used Car Manager is responsible for managing all areas of the Used Car Department, including wholesale, retail, purchasing and marketing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Experience with internet and retail tools, IE: V-auto, E-carlist
• Ability to hire, train and effectively lead all used car sales associates.
• Ability to handle and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure high standards are held for delivery of vehicles to customers.
• Ensure that sales representatives always understand and follow dealership policies.
• Excellent communication skills: ability to communicate effectively with customers; subordinates and other management.
• Properly and efficiently reconditions vehicles and post photos online

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Dealership Used Car Sales Manager experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Previous high volume and producing high units per month preferred
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
