Job summary

Aims Community College in Evans, Colorado is seeking an Automotive/Collision Tool Room Clerk to manage tools, equipment, and supplies used in instructional labs. You will ensure tools are available, properly maintained, and checked in/out to support a safe, organized learning environment.

Occasional travel may be required. The role involves tool room inventory oversight, loss prevention, and coordinating tool movement while supporting students and instructors.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of automotive tools.
• Ability to work independently and take direction.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
• Punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Ability to work with a diverse population.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of tool room inventory.
• Monitor tool crib for loss prevention.
• Check-in/Check-out tools, equipment, vehicles, etc.
• Track use of tools, equipment and vehicles.
• Stocking and re-stocking of tools and equipment.
• Directing traffic in/out of garage.
• Other duties as assigned.
