Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is seeking a Title Administrator to review and process automotive titles in a customer-facing role at our Sterling, VA site. You will be the first contact for visitors, support title needs at the front counter, and ensure accuracy in title paperwork.

The role requires knowledge of state DMV rules, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Notary or DMV certification may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Notary certification preferred.
• Active DMV certification for Title/Registration processing may be required depending on location.
• 1 year of automotive title experience, typically from an auction, dealership, or state motor vehicle department.
• Must be 18+ and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for onsite visitors and vendors at the front office.
• Assist customers at the front counter to support title needs and basic customer service.
• Review and analyze titles for accuracy; request additional documentation as needed.
• Apply knowledge of local DMV rules, fees, and requirements for buyers and sellers.
• Calculate estimated fees for title processing and complete title transfers.
• Enter and update data in internal databases and title paperwork.
