Job summary

Toyota of Scranton is hiring a Title & Accounting Professional to support the dealership’s accounting operations, including Pennsylvania registration paperwork, payment processing, and daily cash reconciliations.

The role ensures accurate records, strong internal controls, and compliance with GAAP, laws, and company policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and professional in handling confidential information.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting or automotive dealership operations.
• Title and registration experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented and trustworthy with strong confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process daily financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare and maintain Pennsylvania registration paperwork.
• Assist with Pennsylvania title and registration processing.
• Process payments, receipts, and related documentation.
• Reconcile daily cash deposits and prepare bank deposits.
• Post journal entries in accordance with company procedures.
• File Pennsylvania sales tax, PTA, and VRT tax reports.
• Report financial and transactional information to management regularly.
• Provide managers with updates regarding work status and outstanding items.
• Respond to departmental requests for accounting information and support.
• Maintain accurate and confidential customer and dealership records.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and dealership standards.
• Maintain working knowledge of the dealership management system and Microsoft Office applications.
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, managers, and outside partners.
• Participate in required company meetings and training programs.
• Take part in cross-training initiatives that support team development.
• Maintain a professional appearance and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
