Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Test Engineer in Seymour, Indiana to analyze requirements, develop test strategies, and design automated test solutions for automotive electronics and software. You will work with the validation team to ensure comprehensive coverage and align with safety and quality standards.

You should have 4+ years PLC programming experience (Siemens preferred) in high-speed automotive environments and familiarity with IntelliAim by Dajac; VVF drives experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, electrical or mechatronic engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years of PLC programming experience, preferably Siemens, in robotic equipment.
• Experience programming PLCs in a high-speed automotive environment.
• Experience using IntelliAim by Dajac is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements, legal regulations and internal specs for testing strategies.
• Develop equipment specifications and test programs for electrical and software domains.
• Design and develop complex test programs and systems to measure product functionality.
• Support the Software Validation Team to ensure complete test coverage.
