Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics and Automation, Controls Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of Siemens PLC programming experience.
• Experience reading electrical prints, ladder logic, and schematics (required).
• Hands-on floor experience with manufacturing equipment is required.
• Strong problem solving skills and team focused.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and re-engineer current assembly equipment programs during shift hours.
• Program assembly equipment to include 6 axis robots, PLCs, cameras, scanners, automation, AI.
• Production equipment downtime reduction through quick reaction program interventions.
• Responsible for assembly line process evaluation and cycle time improvement.
• Design, engineer, and procure assembly equipment for future programs.
