Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Process/Manufacturing Engineering professional in Seymour, Tennessee. You will maintain and re-engineer assembly equipment programs, program 6-axis robots, PLCs, cameras, scanners, and automation to improve line performance.

Join a global tech leader delivering greener, safer mobility. You will analyze cycle times, implement interventions, read electrical prints and ladder logic, and design new equipment for future programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in robotics, controls, systems, electrical, or mechanical engineering preferred.
Minimum 3 years Siemens PLC programming experience.
Experience reading electrical prints, ladder logic, and schematics.
Hands-on floor experience with manufacturing equipment.
Experience with Yaskawa Motoman robotics and Keyence cameras is highly desired.

Responsibilities

Maintain and re-engineer current assembly equipment programs during shift hours.
Program assembly equipment to include 6 axis robots, PLCs, cameras, scanners, automation.
Downtime reduction through quick reaction program interventions.
Evaluate assembly line processes and cycle times.
Design, engineer, and procure assembly equipment for future programs.
