Austin Allen Company - Professional Recruitment is seeking a Test Engineer for a growing automotive parts manufacturing facility. You will support test systems design, processes, and methods to improve reliability and equipment uptime.

The role involves modifying software and electromechanical systems, developing test equipment, and using instruments like chart recorders, oscilloscopes, and multimeters. A strong software background in LabVIEW, C++, VB.Net, and VB6.0 is required along with a

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Engineering/Industrial Technology.
Three years of experience in a similar role to Test Engineer.
Test equipment support and PM development.
Data Analysis such as R&R studies, SPC and problem solving.
PLC Programming, design and debugging.
PC (Visual Basic, VB.Net, VB 6.0, SQL, LabVIEW).
Electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic print creation and revision.
Lab Instrument setup and operation.
Automated equipment troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain test systems, processes, and methods to improve reliability.
Modify software and electromechanical systems to enhance test equipment performance.
Support equipment used to verify hardware/software functionality (chart recorders, oscilloscopes, multimeters).
