Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a Sr Test Equipment Engineer in Austin, TX. You will design, develop, and validate automated test systems and control software for gas, liquid, and electro-mechanical subsystems, focusing on LabVIEW-based test programs and prototype development.

You will collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to commission new test solutions and produce documentation, procedures, and reports that enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• LabVIEW Certification, CLD or higher.
• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or semiconductor environments.

Responsibilities

• Design automated test programs using LabVIEW.
• Develop qualification test procedures and perform software qualification.
• Create test documentation, build prototypes, and perform testing.
• Interface with design/manufacturing to validate and commission new test software.
• Prepare reports of results and conclusions for management.
