Job summary

Mobis North America is seeking a Telematics Test/Validation engineer to join our R&D team. You will understand system specs, perform bench and in-vehicle testing, and collaborate with global teams to ensure feature alignment across modules and vehicle platforms.

The role requires 1–3 years in Telematics or automotive testing, with hands-on experience with CAN, TCP/IP, and ADB. Occasional travel to support testing and alignment is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 1–3 years in Telematics, system validation or automotive testing.
• Experience with CAN, TCP/IP, ADB and related diagnostic tools.
• Experience supporting OEM vehicle development projects from early development through production.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand Telematics system specs, requirements and architecture.
• Execute Telematics validation plans, bench and in-vehicle testing.
• Review HU system specs to ensure feature alignment.
• Collaborate with HQ to clarify feature requirements.
• Work with internal teams to support system integration and performance improvements.
• Create system test plans and analyze results to identify root causes.
• Prepare technical evaluations and proposals for engineering changes.
• Demonstrate strong motivation for testing complex functionality and early issue detection.
