  • Perform bench testing using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments as well as live in-vehicle validation across drive routes.
  • Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot CAN bus, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet traffic to perform root-cause analysis on system failures and ECU anomalies.
  • Capture and analyze logs using vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer) and mobile diagnostic software to isolate defects between hardware, firmware, and cloud backends.
  • Report, track, and manage bugs through triage with embedded software development teams and third-party suppliers.
  • Execute manual functional testing and run automated test suites (Python or CAPL scripts) to support continuous integration cycles.
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications
  • Automotive QA Experience: 4+ years validating Automotive Infotainment, Connected Car Services, or Telematics systems.
  • Protocol & Network Knowledge: Hands-on experience with CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and diagnostic protocols (UDS, DoIP).
  • Testing Tools: Expertise with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape), ADB (Android Debug Bridge), or similar diagnostic suites.
  • Wireless & Connectivity: Solid understanding of Bluetooth (HFP, A2DP), Wi-Fi, GPS/GNSS, cellular technologies (4G/5G LTE TCUs), Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic scripting capabilities in Python or CAPL for test automation and log parsing.
