CJ’s Auto Service in Lansdale, PA is seeking a trainee automotive technician to perform tire services, oil changes, and inspections while following company policies. The role aims to develop skills to work independently and become a qualified technician.

You will gain experience in maintenance procedures, teamwork, and customer-focused service in a busy automotive environment at CJ’s, with standard schedules and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and able to bend, stoop, kneel.
• Able to work in varying climate conditions.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress.
• Must complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services, battery installations, oil changes, maintenance, and multi-point inspections; document vehicle conditions.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.

Summary of the Position:

To provide timely and error-free tire and Automotive services following established company policies and procedures. Our goal is for this trainee to gain knowledge and experience needed to work independently and become a successful automotive technician.

Key Essential Responsibilities:

• Performs tire services, battery installations, oil changes, maintenance services, and multi-point inspections notating conditions that exist on vehicles.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Work with fellow associates as a team to provide exceptional customer service.
• Any additional duties assigned by the store Manager.

Qualifications: Experience / Education / Other Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Have a valid drivers’ license, acceptable driving history and access to reliable transportation
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to at least 50lbs, often repetitively.
• Must be able to adapt to severe climate variances.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
• Candidates must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screenings.
