Job summary

CJ’s Auto Service in Lionville - Exton, PA is seeking a trainee Automotive Technician to provide timely tire and automotive services following company policies. The goal is to gain knowledge and experience to work independently and become a skilled technician.

Responsibilities include tire services, installations, oil changes, and multi-point inspections; maintaining equipment; collaborating with teammates to deliver excellent customer service; and handling additional duties as assigned by the

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to complete pre-employment screenings.

Summary of the Position:

To provide timely and error-free tire and Automotive services following established company policies and procedures. Our goal is for this trainee to gain knowledge and experience needed to work independently and become a successful automotive technician.

• Performs tire services, battery installations, oil changes, maintenance services, and multi-point inspections notating conditions that exist on vehicles.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Work with fellow associates as a team to provide exceptional customer service.
• Any additional duties assigned by the store Manager.

Qualifications: Experience / Education / Other Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Have a valid drivers’ license, acceptable driving history and access to reliable transportation
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to at least 50lbs, often repetitively.
• Must be able to adapt to severe climate variances.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
• Candidates must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screenings.
