Job summary

CJ’s Tire & Auto in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a trainee automotive technician to provide timely tire and automotive services following company policies. The goal is for the trainee to gain knowledge and experience to work independently and become a skilled technician.

Responsibilities include tire services, oil changes, maintenance, multi-point inspections, and teamwork to deliver excellent customer service in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving history and access to reliable transportation.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs, often repetitively.
• Must be able to adapt to severe climate variances.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
• Candidates must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screenings.

• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Work with fellow associates as a team to provide exceptional customer service.
