Job Description

The hourly pay range is $15 - $18 guaranteed, plus $23 - $30 flat rate based on experience. This full-time or part-time hourly role involves vehicle diagnostics, routine repairs, and maintenance, delivering exceptional service through effective communication and quality work.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform basic vehicle diagnostics and identify necessary repairs.
2. Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle, documenting and communicating additional services needed.
3. Assist in inventory management, including pulling and stocking parts and tires.
4. Maintain store cleanliness and guest-ready condition.
5. Perform services following safety standards and policies.
6. Test drive vehicles according to policy, adhering to traffic and safety laws.
7. Follow company policies, governmental standards, and safety procedures.
8. Maintain technical knowledge through training courses.
9. Operate and maintain equipment safely.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Profile Summary:

• Basic automotive maintenance, repair, and tire services skills.
• Ability to diagnose problems and identify root causes.
• Ability to interpret instructions in various formats.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Automotive training or equivalent experience.
• Preferred ASE certification and State Inspection license.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR.
• Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.
• Ability to perform basic automotive services and diagnostics.
• Effective communication skills.
