Job summary

Castle Cars is seeking an Automotive Technician (Non-Union) to join our busy shop in Indiana. You will perform repairs, diagnose systems, and ensure services meet dealership guidelines while keeping customers informed.

Qualifications

• 2+ consecutive years of technician experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• B-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
• Dexterity and steady hand-eye coordination
• Troubleshooting skills with electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to learn
• Valid driver's license and insurability

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and dealership guidelines
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C
• Communicate with Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services
• Provide time estimates for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and follow dealership guidelines
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
• Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
