Job Description

The Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining guest vehicles. You will undergo comprehensive training from day one, preparing you for your role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring vehicle safety and reliability.

The hourly pay ranges from $18-$20 guaranteed, plus $28-$38 flat rate based on experience, and the role is eligible for additional incentives.

Responsibilities

1. Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications.
2. Obtain guest approval for work after diagnosis and maintain a clean work area.
3. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
4. Test drive vehicles and safely use shop equipment for inventory pickup.
5. Collaborate with team members and provide leadership to General Service Technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Own basic automotive tools or participate in the tool purchase program.
• Ability to work with hands overhead, stand long periods, lift 50 lbs.
• Guest and team-focused mindset.
• Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, if applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification (A1-A8).
• Automotive Technician State Inspector License.
• Technical school certificate or degree.
